
Violent Vira
Metalcore singer Violent Vira (Amy Gonzales) brings her fierce, melodic sound to De Helling in Utrecht. A debut Dutch show featuring her brand new album.
Amy Gonzalez is the singer behind Violent Vira, an alternative metal and hard rock project she built from scratch in Boise, Idaho, where she grew up as the daughter of Mexican immigrants. Her 2021 single "I Don't Care" went viral on TikTok and has since surpassed 112 million Spotify streams. After the 2023 EP Till' Death Was Never Enough and a move to Dallas, she signed with Mom+Pop Music and released her debut album Lover of a Ghost in November 2025.
The deluxe edition of Lover of a Ghost is released on July 31, 2026 on vinyl and CD, with eight bonus tracks including Spanish-language versions of previous singles.
Violent Vira releases the single "False Reaction" as the finale of the debut album era and announces a European tour for autumn 2026.
Violent Vira performs on May 8, 2026 at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach.
Debut album Lover of a Ghost is released on November 15, 2025 via Mom+Pop Music, with a release party at Rough Trade in New York.
