About the venue

Tresoar is the Frisian historical and literary centre in Leeuwarden, combining the provincial archive, the Frisian library and the literary heritage of Friesland under one roof. Its collections include manuscripts, historical maps and extensive genealogical records. Alongside its archive and library role, Tresoar regularly hosts lectures, exhibitions and cultural events focused on the Frisian language and history.
