About the venue

TAQA Theater De Vest is the main municipal theatre of Alkmaar, situated on the edge of the historic city centre. Its programme spans drama, music, cabaret and dance, drawing companies from across the Netherlands. The main auditorium seats several hundred and is complemented by a smaller studio space for more intimate productions.
