About the venue

The Synagoge Winterswijk is a listed Jewish house of prayer dating from 1894 that survived the Second World War. After the war, the local Jewish community had lost nearly all its members, and the building was given a cultural purpose. It now hosts exhibitions, lectures and commemorative events.
