About the venue

Studio 1 is the smaller of the two main halls at de Doelen, Rotterdam's principal concert building. With seating for a few hundred, it suits chamber music, jazz and world music, as well as smaller-scale performing arts. The compact layout brings audiences noticeably closer to the performers than the main hall allows.
