Stichting Folkingestraat Synagoge

Groningen

About the venue

The Folkingestraat Synagoge in Groningen is the oldest surviving synagogue in the Netherlands, built in 1906. After falling into disuse following the Second World War, the building was carefully restored and now serves as a cultural venue. It hosts concerts, lectures and commemorative events, with the Jewish heritage of the city as a recurring thread.
