About the venue

Radio Kootwijk is a striking art-deco transmitter building from 1923, designed by Julius Luthmann and set in the middle of the Veluwe heathlands. For decades it served as a radio station linking the Netherlands with the Dutch East Indies; today it hosts festivals, concerts and cultural events against a backdrop of open moorland.
