About the venue

The Plompe Toren is a medieval church tower rising from the wetlands near Burgh-Haamstede in Zeeland. The church it once belonged to was swallowed by floods centuries ago, leaving only the tower standing in the water and reeds. Today it is a well-known landmark within Nationaal Park Oosterschelde, popular with walkers and photographers.
