About the venue

Noorderplantsoen is a nineteenth-century city park in Groningen, laid out in the English landscape style on the site of the old city fortifications. Popular year-round with locals, it also serves as an outdoor venue for festivals and events - most notably the annual Noorderzon Performing Arts Festival.
