About the venue

Museum De Waag in Deventer is housed in a fifteenth-century weigh house on the Brink, one of the oldest market squares in the Netherlands. The museum covers the city's history through archaeology, applied arts and local heritage. The building itself - a national monument with a striking stepped gable - is as much a draw as the collection inside.
