About the venue

The Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom is a late-Gothic city palace built at the end of the fifteenth century as the residence of the marquises of Bergen op Zoom. It ranks among the best-preserved late-medieval palaces in the Low Countries. Today it serves as the city museum and cultural centre, hosting changing exhibitions on the history of the town and surrounding region.
