Kasteel Doorwerth is a medieval moated castle on the banks of the Rhine, just west of Arnhem. Its oldest sections date back to the thirteenth century, and the castle was destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries. Today it houses a museum and regularly hosts concerts, exhibitions and other events.
