About the venue

Gaudeamus is a Utrecht-based centre for contemporary music, founded in 1945. It is best known for the annual Gaudeamus Muziekweek, an international festival where young composers and performers present new work. Throughout the rest of the year the organisation also runs concerts and projects focused on contemporary composition.
