About the venue

Fort Nieuwersluis is a 19th-century fort on the river Vecht, part of the New Dutch Waterline defence system. Originally built to control water levels and repel invaders, the fort could be isolated by deliberate flooding. Today it serves as an event venue, hosting concerts, festivals and cultural gatherings in a setting of water and greenery.
