Fort Lunet aan de Snel is a 19th-century fortification near Schalkwijk, part of the New Dutch Waterline defence system. Once built to control flooding and enemy movement, it now serves as a peaceful outdoor venue for cultural events, guided tours and nature walks. The earthworks and surrounding waterways remain largely intact.
