Fort Jutphaas is a nineteenth-century fortification in Nieuwegein, part of the New Dutch Waterline defence system. The well-preserved complex hosts cultural events, festivals and guided tours. Its position along the water and the historic barrack buildings give the site a distinctive atmosphere.
