About the venue

The Drommedaris is a medieval city-gate tower on the waterfront in Enkhuizen, built in the sixteenth century as a defensive fortification. Today the striking building serves as a cultural venue for theatre, music and other events. Its round tower and stepped gables make it one of the most recognisable landmarks in the city.
