About the venue

Doornenburg Castle is one of the best-preserved medieval water castles in the Netherlands, dating back to the fourteenth century. After suffering severe damage in the Second World War, it was painstakingly restored to its former state. Today it hosts guided tours, historical events and medieval markets.
