About the venue

The Domplein is Utrecht's historic central square, built on the site of the city's Roman foundations. The medieval Dom church once stood here in full, but a catastrophic storm in 1674 destroyed the nave, leaving the Gothic Dom tower standing alone. The square now hosts outdoor events, markets and public gatherings throughout the year.
