About the venue
Der Aa-theater is one of the oldest theaters in the Netherlands, situated on the Poelestraat in central Groningen. The building dates from 1876 and hosts theater, cabaret, music and smaller-scale productions. Its intimate auditorium and historic character attract both established names and emerging performers.
