About the venue

De Schierstins in Feanwâlden is a medieval stins - a Frisian stone tower - dating from the fifteenth century, and one of the best-preserved examples of its kind in Friesland. Today the building serves as a cultural centre dedicated to the Frisian language and culture, hosting lectures, exhibitions and other events.
