The Broederenkerk in Zutphen is a Gothic former friary church dating from the 13th century, originally built for the Franciscan friars. Today it houses the city library and the celebrated Librije - one of the best-preserved chained libraries in the world. The building also serves as a venue for cultural events and lectures.
