Audrey Magee: The Colony

In the summer of 1979, during The Troubles, English painter Loyd travels to a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. Frenchman Jean-Pierre Masson has been visiting the island for years and guards the isolation of its inhabitants - Loyd's arrival troubles him deeply.
