Classical Music Masterpieces: Gustav Mahler - Symphony No. 2 'The Resurrection'

In this lecture, Gabriël Vriens discusses Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 'The Resurrection'. Mahler sought meaning and support for life in his symphonies: in his First Symphony he found it in a hero from a book, but in the Second Symphony he expresses his faith in resurrection. A comforting work.
