Lecture: Westlanders of German descent

Arnold Arkesteijn gives a lecture on Westlanders with German roots. From the 18th century onwards, many Germans moved to the Netherlands in search of a better life, and their traces remain visible in the Westland to this day - among others in family names such as Koene, Holtkamp, Barendse, Grootscholten, Disselkoen, Hulspas and Van Marrewijk.
