Kryptograf

The Bergen-based heavy rock band Kryptograf has established itself as one of the most striking names in European heavy rock in recent years. Their latest album Kryptonomicon finished second in the Doom Charts "Album of the Year 2025" - a strong international recognition. With performances at Sonic Whip Festival (NL), AtMOERSphere (DE) and Esbjerg Fuzztival (DK), they have positioned themselves alongside the new wave of Scandinavian riff-driven acts.

On 25 September they play at Willemeen, and for this show the band is joined by Iver Sandøy, drummer of Norwegian metal band Enslaved. Kryptograf draws from the heavy rock of the late 1960s and early 1970s - think the spirit of Black Sabbath and Pentagram, but filtered through a distinctly Norwegian perspective. Massive riffs, psychedelic undertones and doom-laden dynamics define their sound.

Gallon

Gallon comes from the east of the Netherlands and resists being pinned down to a single rock genre. With Solid Ground, the band combines groovy drums, heavy guitar riffs and melodies carried by powerful vocals - aimed at rock lovers who appreciate the heavier and sharper sides of the genre.
