Jason Ringenberg [US]

Country punk legend Jason Ringenberg, known from Jason & the Scorchers, returns with his comeback album Stand Tall - packed with swinging, cheeky songs that evoke The Ramones, Hank Williams and The Pogues.

During the pandemic, he had time to reflect on the world from his farm, between the chickens. That resulted in the energetic album Rhinestoned. After years away from European stages, he reappeared with His Barnstormers at Zwarte Cross and the Sjock Festival in Belgium, where their rousing show nearly lifted the tent roof.

Jason also stands strong as a solo artist: beautiful stories between the songs, and recently he collaborated with Victoria Liedtke on a project of classic country duets. A memoir is also in the works, to be published by the Country Music Hall of Fame. Mojo calls him "The Godfather of Americana".
