A specially assembled group of performers explores works by Ortiz, Purcell, Sakamoto, Theo Loevendie and an old Finnish choral piece.

Ancient sounds and music inspired by them merge with futuristic elements, creating a fusion of old and new. Music, spoken word and dance all play a role. Starting from early music, the performers draw connections between humanity's past and present - then as now, life consisted of consonants, dissonants and everything in between. This evening explores those relationships.

On stage: Kenzo Kusuda (dance), Andreas Böhlen (recorders), Oene van Geel (viola da gamba, percussion), Laurence Gaudreau (cello), Mattias Spee (piano) and Regilio Kerdijk (spoken word).

For preparation or inspiration: 'Andata' by Ryuichi Sakamoto and 'Cold Song', sung by Klaus Nomi.
