Carter Sampson [US]

Carter Sampson grew up in Oklahoma and broke through in the americana scene with a series of albums that charted high on the Americana Charts. She has performed multiple times on Dutch stages and made a striking impression at the Blue Highways Festival. In spring 2025, a new live album appeared, recorded at The Blue Door - the legendary singer-songwriter club in her home state of Oklahoma.

Her studio album Gold showcases her at her strongest: tight songs with an arrangement that serves the music entirely. Outside the studio, she works as founder and director of the Rock & Roll Camp for Girls, a programme that empowers girls through music education. During her tours, she surrounds herself with female musicians.
