Classical Music for Babies (0.5+) - Krulmuziek

At Krulmuziek, musicians perform classical music for the very youngest children, while kids play along on a large mat near the musicians using musical toys. The repertoire features works by composers such as Vivaldi, Strauss and Dvořák.

This edition is themed around the performance NEUS: a musical journey around the world with classical world music. Sitting still is not required - spontaneous reactions from the young audience are actually welcomed. After the performance there is a meet and greet where toddlers and preschoolers can play a real violin or cello themselves.

There are three concerts on this day, each tailored to a different age group:
- 9.30 - 'Toddler Concert' (1.5+): toddlers can crawl, walk and participate fully
- 10.15 - 'Baby Concert' (0+): babies sit on a parent's lap on the mat
- 11.15 - 'Toddler/Preschooler Concert' JOURNEY/NEUS! (2+): in theatre setup, with interactive challenges

The music is the same at all three concerts; the approach and interaction differ by age group.
