Description was written before the event

Bibliotheek Centrum in Alkmaar draws attention to White Cane Day. Volunteers from Oogvereniging Noord-Holland let visitors experience what it is like to navigate with a visual impairment, and explain how the white cane, the official crossing gesture, and safe crossing work.
