Ocobar - Best of Clapton

Following earlier theatre programmes celebrating Eric Clapton's music, Ocobar now presents Best of Clapton - an evening-length theatre concert bringing together the musical highlights from his entire career.

The programme spans his early years with the Yardbirds through the blues of Cream to his later hits and the famous MTV Unplugged concert. Along the way come songs like Layla, I Shot the Sheriff, Wonderful Tonight, Sunshine of Your Love, Forever Man, Lay Down Sally, Tears in Heaven and After Midnight.

The band consists of Bart Wijtman (bass, vocals), his brother Rob Wijtman (drums, percussion, vocals) and Cok van Vuuren (acoustic and electric guitars, vocals) - multiple times nominated as best guitarist in the Netherlands. During the concert, Ocobar seamlessly switches between an intimate acoustic sound and a fully electric setting with guitar solos.
