Description was written before the event

Vereniging Alkmaar Ontzet presents ONTZETfest at Theater De Vest, a musical evening for members and their guests following the successful 2025 edition. The programme spans multiple halls.

In the Benedenfoyer, DoReMichiel performs as a swinging duo. The Kleine Zaal hosts Funkollectiv with house, disco, soul and funk. The Grote Zaal features the Alkmaar Big Band with special guest jazz singer Dennis van Aarssen, playing swing, funk, Latin and pop classics together. The Pleinzaal serves as a lounge space where the Twan Ransijn Quartet and young Alkmaar talent Emily Wareing perform jazz and original songs.

ONTZETfest closes the day with celebration.
