Claus - The Torn Past of a Prince

Jutta Chorus and Bas Blokker spent more than ten years researching their biography of Claus: they spoke with intimates and family members, and discovered previously unpublished letters and diaries. Based on this material, they reconstruct the life of Claus before Beatrix - his family, his dreams and ambitions, the loves of his youth, and what he had to give up to marry the Crown Princess of the Netherlands.

The evening begins with a screening of images and film clips from Prince Claus's early years, followed by a book signing by the authors.
