TREVOGA × SPELL_LOCKET

SPELL_LOCKET is a Rotterdam-based curatorial platform that brings together performance, sound, installation and club culture. Each edition builds an environment without a fixed stage, where artists, audience and space interweave. This edition is co-curated and produced in collaboration with the Amsterdam collective TREVOGA.

The evening consists of three acts: a live set by Acidic Male, the dance-theatre piece XX-63 by TREVOGA, and a hybrid dj-set by k0priva.

TREVOGA - XX-63
TREVOGA is a multidisciplinary collective from Amsterdam working at the intersection of dance, theatre, sound and visual art. XX-63 is their second 'danced-theatre piece' and unfolds in "the exhausted aftermath of counterculture". Through repetition and broken gestures, the piece moves towards a standstill between dream state and deceleration, where euphoric repetition becomes increasingly claustrophobic and withdrawal is not only a symptom but a tactic.

Acidic Male
Acidic Male moves between industrial sound, hypnotic rhythms, noise and experimental vocals - in the tension between softness and friction, violence and comfort, seduction and collapse. Themes of sexuality, shame, revenge and bodily memory are central.

k0priva
k0priva exists somewhere between dj-set, ritual and sonic narrative. She builds unstable worlds through hypnotic, industrial and visceral rhythms, where seduction, tension and release slowly take over the body.
