Algra

Algra is the new project of songwriter and frontman Arend Dijkstra, formerly of The Great Communicators. The music moves between intimate piano songs and layered band arrangements, carried by a solid rhythm section. The lyrics are as disarming as they are confrontational.

On Friday, December 11, 2026, Algra presents the debut EP Ambla I at Podium Aan Zee - the first half of the debut album coming in summer 2027.

The band features Arend Dijkstra (vocals, piano and guitar), Tim Hoekstra (guitar, saxophone and keyboards), Luna Becking (bass and backing vocals) and Marco Burggraf (drums).

Tickets cost € 7.50, excluding € 1 service fee.
