Strijdtoneel (10+)

Theater De Generator presents Strijdtoneel (10+) as part of Orange the World, the international campaign against violence against women. The performance aims to discuss femicide with children: who holds power in our society, what is democracy, what is 'the patriarchy' - and what do you think about it?

In Strijdtoneel, diverse characters clash: William of Orange, his second wife Anna of Saxony, actor Wim, theatre director Flip, actress Anneroos, education officer Linde, the international club Viva Historica - and the audience itself. How far can you go for your ideals? How far must you go?

The performance is part of De Tor Kindermiddag, a recurring theatre event by Theater De Generator where inspiring and engaged artists create theatre for and sometimes together with children. De Tor is in Dutch and runs from 14:00 to 15:00.
