Martijn Crins
Martijn Crins is developing a new show and testing the material in try-outs: experimenting, performing, improvising, messing around. Monkey cages.
What is it about? Martijn himself isn't entirely sure yet. Perhaps about how your own ego always trips you up. Perhaps about feeling trapped when you thought you were free. Or about whether we should listen more to the monkey. Perhaps about a crisis that everyone secretly wishes on others. Anything goes, anything is allowed. Caged monkeys.
About his previous programme Hè Fijn, the Volkskrant wrote: "An energetic and very funny barrage of situations... a great, specific talent for unleashing absurd fantasies on everyday life." NRC called him "a talent as a cabaret performer" with his "ramped-up absurdism", Theaterkrant saw "a potentially great comedian" and De Limburger described it as "a raw, sincere show in which he dissects society from the perspective of the embarrassed person."
