Cameretten

The Cameretten Festival returns to De Liefde for two evenings with fresh cabaret talent from the Netherlands and Flanders. One performance features relatable, hilarious anecdotes, while the other takes you into absurdism or moves you with an unexpected song.

Cameretten has guided emerging cabaret performers to the stage for 60 years. Previous participants include Brigitte Kaandorp, Richard Groenendijk, Jandino Asporaat, Plien & Bianca, Daniël Arends, René van Meurs, Ronald Goedemondt, Kiki Schippers, Janneke de Bijl, Remy Evers, Yunus Aktas and Bro's.

The six semi-finalists work from October onwards in regional workshops and try-outs to develop their programme, performing their best version during the semi-finals at the end of November. The grand finale takes place on Saturday 28 November at the Koninklijke Schouwburg in The Hague.
