Oscar Smit
At € 472,000, Oscar Smit - winner of the jury prize at Cameretten 2024 - takes on the overheated housing market. How did it come to this? And is it all the government's fault? (Spoiler: yes.)
After more than ten years in shared housing, Oscar finally wants a place of his own. Not that he really has to leave - it's still pleasant with his housemates, and he has nothing bad to say about them. (Also because they might read this.) But the time for his own space has come.
The jury of the Cameretten Festival described him as 'an engaged creator who surprises with extremely clever jokes'. Oscar is a permanent member of Comedyhuis in Utrecht and co-wrote the VPRO television programme Plakshot.
Text and performance: Oscar Smit - direction: Eveline Mol
