The Dubious Evening

De Dubieuze Avond takes place on Wednesday, 30 September at Theater De Liefde on the Begijnhof in Haarlem. Maaike Dirkje Hop presents an evening with women trying out new material; the line-up remains a secret until the night itself. This is one of two Dutch dates for Hop this season. The cast alternates between emerging talent and more established performers, with a programme that promises original cabaret ranging from hilarious to vulnerable. Hop won both the jury prize and audience prize at Cameretten 2025 and curates a fresh ensemble for each edition of De Dubieuze Avond.
