Remko Vrijdag
Remko Vrijdag returns to the stage solo with 'Marko Maandag'. His debut solo programme 'Vrijdag Doemsdag' was awarded five stars by NRC and nominated for the Poelifinario, the most prestigious Dutch cabaret prize.
In 'Marko Maandag' he continues in that vein: new stories, songs, unexpected perspectives and parodies - including one featuring a former prime minister who keeps calling him 'Daddy' and won't leave him alone. The central question: who is the real Marko Maandag?
Vrijdag (born 1972) broke through in the 1990s as a member of the cabaret trio De Vliegende Panters, later created three shows with Martine Sandifort as the duo Vrijdag & Sandifort, and regularly performs in Dutch films and television series.
