Six students from Rachel Zhang's marimba class at the Amsterdam Conservatoire perform their own work: compositions and arrangements they wrote themselves, submitted for the TROMP Next Gen competition.

Zhang describes the development this way: "Marimba and vibraphone players who write and arrange their own music, just like singer-songwriters - that is the beginning of a new generation of percussionists."

On stage: Jeanne Chebret, Enaitz Manso, Haopeng Jia, Sung-En Chi, Yitong Chen and Bruce Zhou.
