Minja Mijuskovic Nonet

The Minja Mijuskovic Nonet combines a jazz quintet - featuring two saxophonists - with a string quartet. The ensemble performs jazz-impressionistic compositions by Minja Mijušković, including the suite Boya and new pieces for the upcoming album. The music evokes feelings of longing and nostalgia.

The nonet won the DownBeat Student Award 2026 in the Small Jazz Ensemble/Combo category. The concert is made possible in part by the Amarte Fund and hosted by Oene van Geel.
