Sacred Sonic Offering

Kenta Hayashi and Reo Matsumoto present an evening of tribal beats, ambient sounds and deep frequencies, inspired by musical and spiritual traditions from around the world.

KENTA HAYASHI works with live looping at 432Hz and 444Hz - an approach he calls "Sonic Architecture". With his Tachyonized Guitar and the Min Min, a Japanese tribal guitar, he builds layer upon layer a soundscape that is both meditative and activating. He has previously performed at O.Z.O.R.A. (five times), Fusion (DE), Boomtown and Glastonbury Festival (UK).

REO MATSUMOTO plays the handpan and combines it with organic beatboxing, weaving primal rhythms and melodic sounds into a continuous musical narrative.
