A young, imaginative soul's little blue notebook has gone missing - the very book that held countless stories. As Elizabeth tries to recall its contents, old and new stories unfold, brought to life musically on piano and toy piano. Gradually, the boundary between reality and imagination blurs in a programme full of unexpected repertoire - from Crumb to Escher - featuring special playing techniques and sound effects. Exciting, surprising, and sometimes a little unsettling.

The Little Blue Notebook is an unconventional piano recital where music, storytelling and movement come together. Creator Ashley Ho invites the audience to reflect on the role of imagination in a world full of unrest.

The Dutch Classical Talent jury wrote about Elizabeth Goh: "Elizabeth Goh switches effortlessly between the toy piano and the full concert grand. She makes the toy piano sound like a large adult instrument while emphasizing the playful youthfulness of the concert grand. Or the other way around?" This try-out concert at Splendor in Amsterdam is a preview of her programme.
