On Monday, 31 August, Vasile Nedea brings his improvisation concert to Splendor in Amsterdam-Oost. The music venue, housed in a former nineteenth-century water-pumping station and run by a cooperative of professional musicians, hosts the Romanian accordionist alongside two guest musicians: Oene van Geel (viola) and Niti Ranjan Biswas (tabla). Romanian melancholy, Dutch free improvisation, and Indian rhythmic traditions converge in a programme that unfolds in real time. This is one of two Dutch dates on Nedea's tour.
