Description was written before the event

Grandparents and grandchildren team up as Cyber Agents in the library to investigate online dangers, solve challenges, and learn to spot fake news.

HackShield at the Library is part of 'Echt Niet Vandaag', a national campaign helping residents become more digitally resilient.

About the venue: de Bibliotheek LocHal

The LocHal is a former NS locomotive shed that was converted into a public library and cultural meeting place. The striking industrial building from the 1930s reopened in 2019 after an extensive renovation and was named Best Library in the Netherlands that same year. Alongside books and workspaces, it hosts lectures, exhibitions and other events.
