As I Left My Father's House

Who are you? And who are you when you must flee your country, witness the cruel sides of the world, and are seen by those around you as 'the other'?

In the theatre production As I Left My Father's House, three characters - with Christian, Jewish and Islamic backgrounds - each share their own story about displacement, identity and passing stories on to the next generation. The production uses monologues, poetic texts and live music.

The piece concludes with a poem by Bright O. Richards:
