Brother Ali comes to Willemeen in Arnhem on 28 November for his only Dutch show.

For over twenty years, the American rapper has been one of hip-hop's most outspoken voices. Ten albums, mentorships from Chuck D and Rakim, performances on Jimmy Fallon, Conan O'Brien and at Coachella - the man needs little introduction. Rolling Stone and The Source have written about him; he has spoken at Princeton and Stanford, delivered the keynote at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum and was arrested during civil disobedience actions for marginalized communities. From his current base in Istanbul, he also produces The Travelers Podcast, where he speaks with cultural, spiritual and social thinkers.

His lyrics address identity, inequality, faith and personal growth - sharp and direct, yet never at the expense of musical power. Live, he commands a room with a delivery that is both warm and compelling.
